Advocat en exercici des de l’any 1989, té el Màster en Dret Penal i Ciències Penals per la Universitat de Barcelona (1993).
Ha sigut diputat de la Junta de Govern de l’Il·lustre Col·legi de l’Advocacia de Barcelona (2005-2009). És autor de diversos articles i publicacions i també imparteix cursos i conferències en l’àmbit del dret penal.
